N00B from Upstate NY
hi there, long time reader, first time poster. i've had my 1999 Chevy Blazer LT for almost a year and had a 1997 GMC Jimmy for nearly two years before that. i'm not new to working on cars as i've been into Neons for about 8 years. i've owned 4 of those, currently own one. i recently used a how-to on here for the intake manifold gasket replacement and figured i might as well finally join up. i have a few other things to address but before starting a thread thought i should introduce myself.

thank you for all the welcomes. i'm in the garage as i'm typing this (taking a break) putting in a radiator and doing the rear rotors and pads. i already spent an hour taking the door apart to try and figure out why the door wouldn't lock. found it. the door sags, like all Blazers, and it was slammed one too many times and the power lock mechanism snapped in half. i broke it off the rest of the way, removed it so its out of the way, and it at least locks manually now. i came to the site today to search for why the dome light won't turn off. haven't found it yet so wish me luck with that.
i'd post some pics but the only camera i currently have is my iPhone. its a 3GS so the quality is only good in the right conditions. unfortunately, i don't know what those are yet.
alright, back at it. gotta love 57 degrees in January.
