Alright, this may be in totally the wrong spot, but here it goes.

Im deciding between a pre-1988 2wd S10/Sonoma, orBlazer/Jimmy. Now I know this is a blazer forum, but im sure some of you have owned both. What would you guys reccomend?Prosor cons for either?

Pre '88 I'd prefer the Blazer because there weren't many differences exterior-wise and I'd rather drive a Bowtie. Post '94 I'd rather have a GMC because the front end is a lot smoother and cleaner. Mechanically speaking they're the same trucks underneath.

I will be honest and say that if I had the ability to get both, I would get a 98+ Blazer to lift and a 93 and down extended cab S10 to lower.

any mods you plan on doing to it? any specific reasons you prefer a 2WD rather than a 4WD?

I Love my Blazer. My buddy had 1. 1989 GMC Jimmy 2. 1996 Blazer 2dr. Loved them both. Until his fuel rail in the blazer died 3 times on him. Then he went to mopar
