Default New 1995 Blazer owner in Akron Ohio

Hi, all.
Just bought this today. 1995 Blazer 4door 4wd. Not in bad shape for this part of the world. Not a lot of rust, which is a real problem around here. There are some minor issues, which I will be working on and probably asking about later.
This is going to be my daily driver. I had to get something with 4wd for the winters around here. Streets don't always get plowed in a timely manner.
Although this isn't my first Chevy truck( have had a 2002 S10 and a 2005 Trailblazer, I am basically a Ford guy, so I will have lots to learn about these.

Welcome Russ - I am a NE Ohio guy myself. I live in Streetsboro and work in and around akron quite a bit. I too am a ford guy who found a good deal on a used 2002 2 door, so I jumped on it.

Welcome to the board.

-Sean.

Thanks to both for the welcome.

I work in Solon. Had to find something to handle the snowy roads here before next winter. My 1979 Pinto is flat out scary in the snow. And I am putting way too many miles on our 2007 Taurus.

Hoping the Blazer works out well. Can't even drive it yet though, have to wait to get the registration until I can afford to replace the muffler and tailpipe and get it through Echeck. Hopefully will be soon, waiting on the tax refund. I did drive it home from Shaker Heights. Seemed to do ok once I had driven it for a while. It had been parked since March.
