"New" 1998 Blazer
I'm OLLLDDD. My first brand new car was a [not fancy] 1956 Ford and owned nothing but Fords and Mercurys until Dec of 2022 and I "came in to" a 1998 very clean Blazer 4.3. I find after driving it a while that it has a few problems. Mostly small, I believe and hope, and will abbreviate here and start some searching. Although I'll do a diligent search. I'll abbreviate them here [invited to email me too, if you want] in order of my preference, not necessarily what SHOULD be my priorities. Radio worked WELL [has cassette player] but suddenly became VERY FULL of static 90 pct of the time, clears up as a mystery sometimes, even on strong local stations. Clicking behind glove box, all turn signals and other lighting works properly. Driver Front window goes up and down SOMETIMES, so I don't use it for fear it might stay down. AC works for only short periods of time [I'll get an AC service when I can afford it] to see if that's needed, or if there is a leak. I'll be able to handle the window when I get time, and prob won't have questions on the AC. But I'll be open to number ONE, comments on the radio reception, and will prob just change out the TS Flasher Unit. Any comments or experiences that y'all have had will of course be welcome.
Thanks.
