Hey Everyone - new to the forum here as I just bought a 1988 K5 yesterday from a friend. Its a big project and I'm a big time newbie!
I was curious if anyone on here may have some recommendations for mechanics around Los Angeles (west side) that could help do some of the work I need. Fortunately, it has no rust, a great chassis, newer lift kit and tires. The body in general is in great shape, but here's where I need help in order of priority:1. Electrical - so I can drive it and not get pulled over bc the break lights and signals are off!
2. Power Steering / Power Breaking
3. Engine/Transmission/Gearbox - She runs but not great
