new to blazer

Just bought an 04 Blazer. Love it. Only problem is the radio won't go off when opening the door. Am I doing something wrong?

It's probably a disconnected door pin switch. Check the door pin on the side of your dash when the door is open. There is also another switch connected to the door handle. If your dome light doesn't come on when you open the door (don't forget the override switch too) then that's the culprit keeping the Retained Accessory from turning off.
