Don't really know what to say besides hello. I've got a 1988 S10 Blazer 4.3L TBI V6. Currently no mods. By next month I'll have about a 4 inch total lift 31x10.5x15's, dual glasspack exhaust, and paint. Motor mods will be done midsummer. Changing from TBI to carb. Haven't played with 6 cylinders yet, but I've done a lot of small block V8's and I know the 4.3L is basically a 350 minus 2 cylinders, so it should be a lot of fun, looking forward to it.

it's going to be awhile for the carb conversion. a little strapped for cash at the moment, and that's a bit pricey.

I grew up around SBC's. That's all my father played with. When I moved in with my brother, we started just playing with them for ourselves as well as our buddies' toys too. Most of it is Hot Rodding. My other toy besides the blazer iis a 59 Chevy Apache. 2WD, 2.73 gears, 327ci full roller motor, 3 Speed slapshift TH400 trans, no power steering.
I prefer a carbed engine. I've got a lot more experience with carbed motors than fuel injected. Its just a personal preferance.

Welcome to the site! I'm from North Jersey as well (bloomfield) but I have friends that live in Andover. Both have bagged blazers but one is a green first gen and the other is a blue xtreme blazer.
