I'm the new owner of a 99 chevy blazer! kinda weird for me because i have always been strickly japanese cars. I used to own a 93 mazda mx-6 but due to constant speeding tickets i retired it. Now everyone told me to stay away from this car because it has head gasket and tranny problems, my blazer has 185k but i felt no slip at all in the tranny and absolutley no leaks under the car so i figure it should be safe. Now, my model is pewter with tan leather sunroof and wood grain, I have never seen a blazer with wood grain b4, is it possible to get a black blazer with wood grain?

 

interesting....head gaskets are definitely one of the less common repairs.

Intake manifold gaskets though...those are more frequent...still wounldn't say common though

Welcome to the site! Do you have the trailblazer package? I don't think I've seen any wood grain optioned blazers...but I've never been in a blazer w/trailblazer pkg.
