New Blazer owner.

Just picked up a 2001 4door 4x4 S-10 Blazer LT. Car has 117,XXX miles on the Vortec V6. Interior is in near mint condition and the exterior only has a couple dings aside from both front fenders either being re-painted or replaced.
Everything aside from the A/C and rear wiper works. Paid $2500 for it.
My previous/1st car was a 1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA with a 350 SBC. While the GTA wins hands down in the style and speed department( duh ), the Blazer takes the cake in pretty much every other category aside from MPG ( which is expected when comparing a 3400lb car vs a SUV ). I miss the speed sometimes, but not gritting my teeth when driving over EVERY FRIGGING BUMP makes up for it.
I was initially very hesitant on getting a Blazer, ( the plan was to get a LS1 equipped Trans Am, but theres very slim pickings around here. All of them are way over-priced at the dealers. ) but its already starting to grow on me and I've only owned it for 2 days lol.
I'm very familiar with forums and have been posting on Thirdgen.org regularly for over a year now. Just thought I would introduce myself a little.
