Recently bought my 2nd Blazer, a 2000, 2door, 2wd. I had an 88 many years ago and it was just right for a daily driver and initially that's what the 2000 model will be. But as a long time gearhead I'm really wanting to do an LSX swap into this one at some point in the future.
I picked this one up pretty reasonable, it has 86k miles on it and runs and drives great. So far I've replaced all the speakers and upgraded to a Pioneer head unit with bluetooth capability. The door hinge pins/bushings were shot and I replaced them. I also had a problem with the rear hatch glass not opening unless I hit the button repeatedly. After replacing the electric servo and the latch assembly it turned out all I had to do was adjust the latch assembly!
As for me, I'm an old fat guy who still likes to have a project to work on. I've done some GM muscle cars and several Harleys over the years and hope to do a few more.
