Welcome, I'm new too.
Since the ice has melted, the trout here are striking anything that hits the water! We've got walleye as well, but I haven't tried that yet.
What kind of fishing is your Tahoe gonna' xport you to? Hauling a boat? I'm a fishing kayaker myself, when I'm not wading.
Ciao

WY has a nice Certificate, from the Game & Fish department, for folks who catch one of each of the four native species of Cut-throat trout. Anything like that up there?
I'm planning the first of many fly-fishing ventures this summer via motorcycle.
I've got a nice pickup bed trailer for the Blazer, looking for a topper now, to use as a mobile camper. Figure I can put some yak racks on top with room to spare for some HAM radio antennas, and a receiver hitch bike rack on the rear.
I dislike tent camping in rattlesnake terrain. Been bitten before & not looking for a repeat in a remote area.
