new from Colorful Colorado
Greetings all from Colorado Springs...
Been a (multiple) Blazer owner for a while...mine is a '89, wife's is a 2000 (both 4WD). I bought mine several years ago for $600, put a couple hundred in repairs (mostly front end), a fuel pump, little throttle body tweaking...and besides regular maintenance it has been pretty much untouched (except by the occasional tree branch out on the trails ). By FAR the most bang for the buck I've ever had from any vehicle! She's getting a little tired tho (at 212K miles who could blame her!). Not sure I can ever bring myself to part with it...so who knows what the future has in store (maybe a V8? )
Ironically enough the wife's 2000 blew a head gasket recently (flippin dexcool crap )...and she ended up taking mine out to Durango (about 6 hours away)
