And my hubby's Burban does the same knocking sound. Its usually only when we are idling through parking lots.
Aww!! I just got mine a few weeks ago.. He's a total sweetie
Mine is a Blue Fawn pit bull, 14 months old now, almost 15.
My baby Meiklo
& these are my boys :
But as for the clanking noise, it only does that when my bf drives it..
When I drive it, the only time it makes that noise is when I turn my steering wheel all the way. My ball joints just got replaced, so I know its not that..
But based on what my bf said, it's most likely my suspension.. but idk. :/

Wow... he's not even full grown if he's 15 months lol. My husband is convinced he's not Full-Blood because he's so big lol. But he looks it to me lol. Are his front paws bigger than his rear? Cause Axle's are, I think its cause they are front heavy lol.

I've noticed that the clanking noise starts when he starts turning as well...

Yeah, my Pit is definitely a full-blood. His paws are pretty much evenly proportioned.. Rockzilla is actually his grandfather.. (you can google him).. Big Diesel is his brother (Meiklo is from the 2nd litter, Bid Diesel is from the first) But anyhow..
I'm gonna get it checked out this weekend, so we'll see how it goes.

It looks like both Rockzilla and Big Diesel are both short and wide... but Meiklo looks taller and not as stocky, which is how I prefer them. The Short ones look too mean, and I want people to not freak out when they see him. Of course people automatically classify Pits as super aggressive to everything, which I hate! makes finding a new place thats not in the lesser part of town impossible, we couldn't even have our German Shepherd Mix or our Pit/Husky mix here, just cause they were "aggressive" breeds. Its discrimination I say!!! lol

It really is, and it sucks.
But as for Rockzilla & Big Diesel, they are bulked up, and mine isn't.

We have to sell Axle now... just because he is going to have the face of a Pit we can't have him. We can't have dogs at all where we are trying to move. Sad Day.
