New from Florida W/ Old S10 Blazer

Well it looks like my Blazer is actually a 1996, I thought 1989 was wrong and then the guy I bought it from said it was a 1998 he got confused with another truck he had. So I ran the Vin and it turns out it is a 1996. The transmission is going to cost me a grand to fix, the fun of owning an older truck
