New to the forum...

Hey, I'm new here (obviously, why else would I be posting this?)
Anyway, I don't have a Blazer, I have a Jimmy. I hope I'm still welcome. I just bought my Jimmy (an '89 S15 Sierra 4x4) last week. I had a '91 Dodge Dakota prior to it, and after 5 years and putting 90k miles on it going back and forth from SoCal to Jersey, it was time to retire it. I traded it, plus some cash to my mechanic for the Jimmy.
Right now I'm working on fixing some minor things on it (horn doesn't work, a turn signal is out, a seat belt is stuck, etc.) Yesterday I started to install my Kenwood stereo, then it got dark and figured I'd finish it when I get up later today. I haven't installed a stereo since I bought the Dakota, so it took forrrever. Finally I got it right, and realized that it wasn't powering on because the fuse is blown. I still need to solder the wires and install some speakers.

Welcome from the other Kiwi.
We're in New Zealand! Not Australia! LOL
From an Aussie who signed up here (then disappeared) there are only a hanful of them in Australia.
Here in New Zealand we got somewhere around 2 to 3,000 Blazers.
All (including those in OZ) came from Japan as used imports. All of these & obviously all Right Hand Drive, were built in New Jersey. If you check out the pics of foxxie's & my Blazers you'll see there are suttle differences other than the obvious Left vs Right hand drive.

No probs mate. In case you read a post a while back, NZ had experienced a 7 or 8 magnitude earthquake & NZ shifted a foot nearer to OZ. Soon we'll all be one! LOL
