well i broke down a few days ago and bought a Chevrolet i still feel awkward around it and dont make eye contact with her
. haha. diehard ford guy in need of a truck so i did it. paid $700 and that gave me a descent blazer
1983' Chevrolet s10
2.8v6
4spd manual
4x4
Cold ac and toasty heat
itll be a daily driver and my huntin fishin and beater truck for as long as it last. only minor problems are a torn up drivers seat and the passenger door doesnt open from the outside so no biggee. i sit in the drivers seat so it doesnt bother me all to much. may go to pull a part soon and get what i need.. heres some pictures so far

also while this thread is goin the previous owner said there may be a problem with the switch on the transfercase, so when he wanted to put it in 4 wheel drive hed have to pop the hood and plug change a few vacuum lines. but i got it temp rigged up with a quick disconnect ball valve in the cab so i can open or close the vacuum to the actuator (not sure of correct name) behind battery

dont hear people say this too often but the pictures actually do it TOO MUCH justice hahaha. it doesnt look so great in person. unfortunately somebody previously had cats around the yard so there are paw prints all over the hood
. yay. interior plastic isnt good condition. but hopefully truck will do me good. put on a new master cylinder today, new plugs, new filter, cleaned the carb a lil aswell as fixed the back window latch it now shuts and Locks, thank god. and i got a 100mile drive back home tomorrow. i sure hope this lil chevy will make it. first impressions are very important... speciall to a ford guy haha
