The New Guy!
I figured I'd introduce myself here before posting any questions or info. First off, my name is Shawn, I am 22 years old, originally from Southern California but currently live in North Carolina. I am mostly into 1920's-1950's hot rods and customs along with motorcycles. Usually for my daily drivers I drive my 68 Lincoln Continental, 66 F100 and used to own a daily driver 85 Chevy pickup. I sold my 85 Chevy and bought a little Honda Prelude from a friend when gas prices were high and I lost my job. I bought this car with intentions of selling it within only a few months but now it's been almost a year.
I used to own an older 90 S-10 Tahoe Blazer and S10 ext cab pickup with V8 conversion and on bags. I am again looking for a new daily driver but something with 4x4 and that is what lead me to these forums. I am considering either a 2000 and up S-10 blazer or a 70's to 80's fullsize K5 Blazer. I wanted to get some information here and look around before deciding since I have a few other vehicles in mind such as a Toyota pickup, S-10 or Ranger 4x4, etc.
I decided that if I get a S10 Tahoe then I will go with more of a prerunner look to it. I also have my eye on an 86 K50 4x4 Blazer with the boat anchor 305 V8. I am going to contact the guy in the mourning about it and check it out. Anyways, if you guys have any questions for me, feel free to ask!
