Hey all, looking at a 1994 jimmy starcraft this weekend. I need a vehicle to tow my 15' starcraft boat. Found this one. 94,000 original miles, a couple of the doors have a little rust at the bottom. 2 owners this owner has had it for 3 years and has receipts for all work done. 4 wheel drive does not work, owner never cared if it did or so he says. Reading on this site gives me some insight into what to do to maybe fix this. Will be asking a bunch of questions and hope you all can help.

What are you looking at?
I'm in Georgia close to Atlanta and a 4dr 4x4 with 130,00 can be had for $2,000 with a good interior and no body damage. I can find them all day long with good bodies and very good interiors with blown lower intake gaskets for $800-$1000 These motors are not difficult to work on at all.

Hard to find!! Under 100,000 miles for less than $2000!!! This 1994 GMC Jimmy Starcraft edition is black, has 4 doors, tan interior, and automatic transmission. This truck is in decent shape, it's reliable and has been good to me over the past 3 years and I have taken good care of it as well. The only reason I'm getting rid of it is because I felt a car better suited me. I have done a lot to the car since I got it and I have all receipts of work done, including regular oil changes. It has 4 new tires, good quality BF Goodrich, about a year old with not many miles on them. It is wired for a sound system. I installed red l.e.d. interior lights, and it has rope lights on the celling. The only problems that I know of are that there is some rust on the doors, the window on the driver side does not go down, the window on the passenger side goes down but falls off the track. The truck is 4 wheel drive but it does not work, I never had any problems driving it in the snow so I never felt the need to get it checked. I also have side running boards and a cooler that plugs into the lighter that came with the truck and I will give them to you. Overall this is a great reliable truck with low miles!

Still looking. Been slowed down, my wife went back into the hospital for blood clots two weeks after her surgery. The more i read about these 4.3 motors the more i am sure that's the power plant i want. So i will keep looking it's just a matter of time.
