New guy from Boise Idaho
Hey guys, decided I would join the forum after having my 98 blazer for over a year now. I have always had a love for chevys, as my first car was an 82 diesel blazer. Had it for seven years and after beating the living crap out of it in the mud and off road it never gave me any issues what so ever. I just couldn't stant the gas mileage or rise in price of gas that I had to get rid of her. Also having a 91 camaro z28 1le with a 5.7, I was living at the gas station. That's when I decided to pick up my 98 blazer LS 4X4 with 135k miles. I know the gas still isn't great, but much better than the others. I don't plan on doing too much off road stuff in it as it's my daily driver.
In the last couple of weeks I have replaced the spark plugs/wires, cap/rotor, fuel filter and put a K&N filter in it. It's always ran great sinse I've had it with no lack of power, but it's a tad bit rough at idle. I plan on cleaning the throttle body when I'm off work today.
I look forward to discussing and learning more from you all, as well as sharing what I've come to learn.
