Hi there, mi name is Roberto Lavin, from Chile (ok, we are located around Argentina and Perú, a lot of people never seen us in the Map).
I'm a "new" owner of a 4x4 1999 (or 1998?), LS, 2 door blazer. My father owns a brazilian made, 2.4l Apache S10 truck.
I'm mechanical Engineer and I really likes to DIY with almost related to mechanics (but transmissions are not for me!).
I buy my Blazer ir other to get a good 4x4 vehicle and chosse the 2 door model because it seams to have short turning radius.
Tomorrow I will left my truck on the transmission shop in order to get a trany rebuilt (normally, nobody changes automatic transmission fluid in Chile, mine trany have 150.000 km with no fluid change and I don't want have any problems) and then a long list of work (including rust removing from chasis, tune up, etc, etc).
Thats all!!
