Default New guy / Doing jeep conversion

Hello everyone. I am in Middle Georgia and doing a 4.3 W code 4l60e swap into a jeep.
I am having some difficulty finding the information I need to get all the correct parts for the electronic system.
Figure even though it's a jeep body, it IS a gmc Jimmy drivetrain underneath so essentially I will be driving a Jimmy....lol. Therefore it would make sense to be a part of a forum such as this if and when I need to tap the knowledge of experienced s10 and Jimmy owners.
Thanks for letting me join you.

Welcome to the blazer forum. Great to have you on board. I have a first gen blazer. Outside of the axles, the blazer does better. My cj5 with the 304 gets about 9 miles less per gallon. The blazer has the same horsepower as the 304. Not hard for me to choose the 4.3. The transfer case in the cj5 is a 2.0 gearing, compared to a 2.72 in the blazer. Blazer also has power steering, and disc brakes. Good luck on your swap.
