Default New guy here need help

sup people,
okay two nights ago. i was trying to sleep. [sm=burnout.gif]and i couldnt sleep cause i was thinkin about fixing up a 1986 chevy blazer s10 that has been in my driveway for maybe 5 years? doesnt even start.[sm=insomnia.gif] the whole engine is rusted. some areas are rustin badly and rust under the hood behind the front bumper. [sm=smiley5.gif]i want to work on it. i want to drop a 350 hp engine and drop a 5 spd transmission in it. [sm=smiley17.gif]hopefully it starts and runs. ill get pictures up. for anyone that wants to see how bad it is. i mean its not a bad car. but im having trouble finding the parts and engine and transmission. i was hopin that someone could give me some links to sites so i could get started on my adventure.[sm=smiley20.gif]

thanks.

Welcome!

I'm gonna move this to the 'New Member' section for a better response.

Good luck with the project. I'm currently restoring a '70 Chevelle (see link in my sig).
