New guy from Houston
Hey group,
I wanted to go ahead and introduce myself. I'm Daniel, i've been lurking around for a week or so, and I have found that this is the better blazer/jimmy forum on the web at the moment, so I thought i'd join up.
I recently inherited a 1996 Jimmy 2d 2wd, its a little rough on the outside due to the sun fading the paint, but it has 54k original miles and the interior is almost perfect(just this one squeaky panel driving me crazy). I was so happy to get this bad boy, as i've been driving an overheating dodge neon for several years.
This thing runs perfectly, I would drive it 1k miles if I needed to and not worry at all.
For now I'm just driving it, no mods planned or anything. I'm going to change the oil and do some tune up sort of things this weekend, but for the most part, this thing is awesome, and I'll be hanging onto it for a while.
Nice to meet you guys, hope to see you around often.
