New Guy from Louisiana
Hey guys, just wanted to introduce myself. Just bought a 1999 Chevy Blazer and as I've used the interwebz forums to get info and advice on my other vehicles (91 Camry and 01 SV650S
), the first thing I wanted to do was find a forum for my newest addition.
I live in SE Louisiana, Baton Rouge, to be specific, and I got a great deal on this particular purchase, so I'll be doing some work before it's road worthy.

Any idea on what exactly you will have to tackle before she is ready to roll out?
And, make sure you snap plenty of pics along the way. You'd be surprised at how pic hungry the forum as a whole is.

Just to get her rolling, I'm gonna need a new front passenger Wheel Hub Assembly. She's got ABS, so I've priced the hub just below $200, and my mechanic is going to do it for $100. I also have to replace the windshield to get her legal here in Louisiana. I'm gonna take some pics this afternoon and probably start a thread in the Build section with all the pictures. The body's in decent conditon, with bumps and dings here and there, but nothing major that I've seen yet.
