thanks guys this is a pretty welcoming forum, ive been on alot of them lol. so have a chevy friend come check it out and make sure its not a crappy hack job? and always try to get the other guy to throw in cash lol

not only do you want someone who is framiliar with Chev's, you would also want them to be somewhat of a custom guy too.

this isn't just a straight forward engine swap, you're dealing with an engine/trans set-up that was never offered in the truck. so there's gonna be plenty of one-off fabbin' goin' on.

remember, take your time! if the guy is pressuring you to hurry up, then he's probably worried about you finding something wrong.

but don't be an *** about it. be thorough, but do it in a timely manner.

alright thanks for all the great advice guys! i think im gonna have him come this upcoming week from indiana to make sure its everything he says it is. i know its hard to guess a number but roughly what would you expect this truck to run in the 1/4 mile? i know traction is gonna be a big issue but since finding out this vehicle never came with a 350 it makes me wonder what it may run... all guesses appreciated... my guess would be 14s-15s Also the guy insists its GREAT in snow, i dont see how a 350 with 3.73 gears, small tires and a manual is that good in snow unless its a tank
