New Guy In Need of a Back Seat
Hello, folks! New guy here saying hello to all.
I just became the lucky latest owner of a 1990 K5 Blazer that will be a "rolling project" for me. So I expect to be here quite a bit, looking for solutions to whatever might come up. One of the things I love about squarebodies in general is that parts are usually super easy to find. However one thing I'm having a hard time tracking down is a rear seat. I see exactly one for sale in the whole US-of-A on evilBay, and the poster doesn't seem quite sure what year it fits. So, my first official question to you all is: any leads on a supplier for oe-style rear seats for later K5 squarebodies? I've looked at Classic Industries, Summit, etc, etc, but so far the closest I get are seat covers.
Plan B: It kind of looks like a Wrangler rear seat would fit back there, although some fabbing would be required, of course. Anyone have any good examples of shoehorning in seats from other vehicles?
Thanks, and looking forward to the forum!

I once took acura rsx heated leather seats, and put them in my ghetto civic lol... I had to cut and weld my own mounting brackets, but it worked out great. I would measure the area you have, then take a walk around scrap yards and see what measures in.
For the mounting, it's a preaty much measure and fabricate on the fly... if you don't have a welder or access to one, a nice angle iron cut and bolted together will work. Just make sure to use lock tight on the frame, don't want to be tightening the bolts after every trip offroad lol... let us know what you come up with,we always love getting ideas from others
