STLBlazer is on a distinguished road
Default new guy from St Louis

Names Ryan, I have a 1999 4x4 Blazer with 90,000 miles that seems to have every typical blazer problem that exists. As far as any mods go, I have installed a stereo system that consists of a 7" touchscreen head unit, 600 watt mono block amp and a 15" sub. I'm mostly here looking for help with my Blazer's issues. Tranny shifting very hard when hot (guessing the valve body problem), Leaking transmission coolant lines, and a bad intake gasket (luckily it is only leaking outside the motor). I plan to do all the repairs myself and am confident I have enough experience to do them. I've also built a 1989 honda civic si from the ground up when I was younger. Any help will be appreciated. I also have a cpl dirtbikes, a streetbike, and guns that take up my free time.

Welcome!

Glad to see someone from my old hometown - you'll have to send me some Imo's pizza, I can't stand the deepdish stuff up here.

Good luck with the repairs.

Thanks everyone, the 15" sub is just a rockford hx2 (circa 2002) I had laying around to replace my 10" power acoustik that finally blew after 6 years of abuse. I'm going back to a 10" as soon as I find one I like. The 15 sounds great but it takes up too much room and the box I have for it is crap.
