Thought I would jump on here and let you guys know that I really find this site helpfull.
Trust me - After our beloved '98 Honda Civic was stolen, we "lucked" into a 2nd owner Chevy Blazer for $2500.
This vehicle has changed our lives... never would we have looked at one of these but, as you know, when you have to, you have to. It was bought through a friend of ours at church.
Behold the beauty but, it wasn't perfect... Pump 87 octane in the tank, collapsed muffler, bad water pump and me breaking the hazard switch putting in the new stereo.
It was horrible at first - chugged at 70mph tops on the hills, and had enough body roll to sink a ship.
$1500 later, new tires, shocks(DO NOT GET SENSA-TRACS!!!) MSD, K&N, Flowmaster, HD Waterpump, and a host of spark plugs, wires, frame detailing and finally the Yakina rack on top(It's now on it's 8th car!)
What sucked on hills and got 13~15 no matter what, runs like a scalded dog and gets 19+ mpg all day. It's come a long way.
The previous owner worked at lifeway and parked in a parking garage, so the paint didn't see much sun, and looks flawless.
We are still gitty about the Blazer and the wife gets to drive it on Saturday and special occasions!
Enjoy the pics, and I put an album up sometime in the next few days.
P.S. Yes, that is a 95 with a Westin Safari Bar!
