new guy from washington broken down in the gorge
I am back home now and the blazer is still in the gorge three hours away from me. I took all of my stuff out of it and it is still at shade tree subaru mechanic shop in white salmon washington. My ex step dad is going to go get it on saturday for me and drop it off at the shop down here that I use occasionally. My ex step dad has to take a bmw with a blown transmission out that way anyways. I just got my car running again so it looks like I will be back to using it for awhile until I get the blazer running. Here is a pic of the blazer and a pic or two of my car.

The car is a 1985 nissan 200sx or s12. It has a s13 2.4 dohc engine/transmission swap and I have changed the suspension out to a hodge podge of parts to make it better since there isnt really an aftermarket for these cars. I got the blazer with my tax return because I wanted something with 4 doors and 4wd. The blazer fit my price range and seemed like it had been some what taken care of. It has a new alternator, new airflow meter, and a new heater core. It is also fully loaded with leather and everything. I bought it to use it as a comfy daily though since the interior on the car is all stripped out and is noisy as all hell.

anything over 500 for a radiator is outrageous IMO. If you have some basic tools you can do it all yourself for fairly cheap.
Oh and hey that beach looks pretty familiar. i got a couple pictures of my truck form there as well.

Depends on if you have the console shifter or the column shifter. And its not all that hard to convert it as long as you know where everything went on the blazer you took parts off of. it will all have to be the same on yours. Now if you try to figure it out from scratch then its not easy.
