Hi, I have a '96 4wd, 4dr blazer. She has 131K and some change. I basicially "saved her" from the previous owner. In my thoughts, she was neglected. I got her for $850. Needed an intake manifold gasket mainly, and then tires, and then bunch of other little things. Here's some pics:

I just recently did a tune up, tined the windows (to the % of the factory of the back windows) nd installed a brush guard i got for $50.00, yes a westin brush guard for FIFTY dollars. Had to make my own brackets though, no big deal. I don't have pics of it yet.

Now with the brush guard on, the headlights really suck (worse than before!! Really bad. I'm probably going to put two 100w off road lights that mount in the middle of the brush guard and come on when the highbeams are turned on. Right now, I can barely see crap at night (maybe the rain last night made it 100% worse but it was bad lol)

Welcome from central Illinois. Your Blazer looks pretty clean, it looks nice. I got my Westin brush guard for $75 and had custom brackets made too, much cheaper than buying a new one. lol

Oh yeah, 50 for the brush guard, about $70.00 for the metal, and time = a nice cheap set-up that saved a ton of money.

I got 2, 100watt off road lights that will go on the brush guard. Should be installed on sunday. I can barely see at night.

Once I get called back to work in the spring I plan on getting some KC Daylighters for my brush guard. I have to get my girl friend her Christmas present first, because I couldn't buy it for her then due to all of my money going towards school and gas to get to school.
