Hey everyone just wanted to say hi. I finally registered so I can PM people with questions after I do some searching and don't quite have the answer I need.

I have a 97 4x4 Blazer with 318,000kms on it!! Have redone the balljoints, control arm bushings, CV's, tie rod ends, pitmen arm, etc recently. Feels better now for steering and doesn't wander down the road so bad... was pretty sketchy for a while.

Seems like a really good forum.

Just cleaned my MAF, I think the owner before me had never done the job. I must have killed half a can of CRC MAF cleaner getting all the dirt off it and a q-tip. There had to be 1/16" of dirt all over the wires. Lets hope my gas mileage picks up now.

You could feel the blazer hesitate to get going when you floored it WOT.

Going to do the EGR valve next and then the IAC valve. What cleaner do you guys use for the IAC? How about brake clean for the EGR valve or stick with carb cleaner?

And my little helpful tip is try the NGK TR55ix plugs, they run very nice. My truck seems to like them. I have had extremely good luck with NGK iridiums, run TR7ix's in my Cobra.

Welcome to the Forum.

Rather than use the PM function, please post any questions in the appropriate section so others may benefit, too.

Sounds good. I am sure I have missed lots of threads so I didn't want to recreate something I may have not sorted through yet is all.

Its usually something little like what cleaner to use on the IAC valve?
