New from Iowa
Hi, my name is Jayson and I've had my Blazer for about 2 weeks, give or take. It's a blue/tan 1999 4-door LT 4x4 that I bought in Cedar Rapids for $2500. It's got a few problems that need some attention but I'm pretty happy with it, other than some woman ran her shopping cart into it today and left a nice dent.
Here's the short list of things needed:
Intake Gasket
Both sets of ball joints
Computer climate control switch (only full hot puts out heat)
Tires (ZQ8's may be in near future...)
Cargo Net (on way)
Bug Deflector
Windshield?
I also have a Pioneer CD player waiting to be put in
And something cheap for more power (Any suggestions?)
Oh, and the cat rattles which might explain the 12 mpg?
This is a cop out, but I won't be doing the intake myself as its getting cold here and I have no place to work on it at the moment, or any real free time to do it in.
But this is just to start and just wanted to say I'm here to learn what I can about what I'm driving, so sorry if I ask alot of questions. I'll try to post a picture or two when I figure out how lol
