New from Long Island!
Hello everyone, my names Kamil, with a 97 Blazer LT.
First car, also a victim of Hurricane Sandy!
Hopefully she will pull through and run once again.
If she in fact does pull through, I plan on getting a 6" lift, bigger tires, chop off the muffler and throw a straight pipe on, as well as put a new sound system in it, IF it does manage to run. Sandy messed up a lot of cars, but hopefully the Blazer is a fighter and will pull through for me!

Hey guys, the truck wont start and the hurricane did a lot of damage engine-wise. I currently know that it had to have the starter replaced and most likely a lot of electrical, battery, wiring, etc. Well hopefully it'll be a fighter and the mechanic will do a good job! I received the truck from my stepfather, who bought it off an insurance auction (IAAI to be specific) for $500, and checked on craigslist and saw that he won't get more than $2,000 for the condition it's currently in, so he left it for me. So all repairs are being covered by him and hopefully I will be the proud owner of a running Blazer soon. And DKSDAD I am from Riverhead in Suffolk County
