Hey there, my name is Khali but on forums I go by Shika. I recently (within the last week) inherited a 1987 Chevrolet Blazer with a 2.8L V6 and T5 Manuel Transmission 4WD. The truck has been in my grandfather's backyard for almost 20 years and I finally convinced him to let me do something with it. Short term goals are to redo the exterior and interior with a more modern retromod, repaint the car, and swap out the 2.8L with a 4.3L Vortec that's currently sitting in my buddy's totaled 98 Jimmy. Long term goals include LS swapping while preserving the manual and 4WD, which based on current research is easier said than done but I've got plenty of time to figure it out. My current other vehicles include a 700 whp Corvette (Road Racer), a Saturn Sky (Sunday Cruiser) and a 4th gen Pontiac Trans Am (Daily Driver until the Blazer is road worthy). I've never owned an SUV before and I mostly look forward to being able to tow my other cars to and from the Racetrack. Look forward to meeting all of you and learning a lot about the platform here!
