Hello all, my name is Josh.. member name rukahs.. like to cause a ruckus. anyway, Just bought a 97 2 blazer with a 5 speed in it. Im mostly a dsm car guy. used to have a 89 blazer. and loved it.

Anyway about the blazer. It runs and drives. It has a 3" body lift, for reasons i still cant figure out why lift a body, im pretty sure im going to set it back to stock. It has new parts, 190k on it. needs an alignment, maybe new shocks. needs a windshield, and a damn coffee cup holder.

motor sounds good, might be leaking from the valve cover. Needs tires and I need to figure out if the body lift is causing 1st and 3rd to grind. but when you strong arm it and hold it in 1st and 3rd, it drives fine. Which is why im believeing its a linkage issue.

Anyway, For 400 bucks im not complaining....Yet. I cant for the life of me figure out how to upload a pic from my pc. will do later.

Anyway, i plan on doing hours of research on this site before i start asking questions. Thanks again!!!

No i dont have photo bucket, And I dont know if it was for larger tires or what. Its too cold today to actually fully check it out. Hopefully tomorrow itll be warmer out. Thanks for the welcome

+1 on the body lift generally being used to clear larger than factory tires.
