Hello all,I am a 98 blazer owner.I don't always have to have help, and have been privileged to machine parts for some of the stealthliest, biggest and fastest airplanes in the USA.
THAT BEING SAID I HAVE TROUBLE WITH THE SIMPLEST STUFF WHEN IT COMES TO THE 98' CHEVY BLAZER. IT IS 2 WHEEL DRIVE AND HAS THE 4.3L. Engine. The problem is With the automatic climate control system. Don't know which actuators are the actual problem and I think the vaccume lines are the problem. The hose on The left and I think side to draw VACCUME via the intake,SELINOID. It's not connected to the engine and I can't find where it does connect to anything OTHER than that 1 way valve that splits and goes to the reservoir and I don't know other line of the t's ending. The latch area diag. On radiator top was clear but still just couldn't find the connection to intake. please help
The vacuum line goes to the driver's side of the upper intake manifold.. One way to find the outlet is to follow the tube from the pcv valve(in the driver's side valve cover) it T's out of the same port on the upper intake
You may want to remove the intake tube to give you more access.
It's more or less right where the arrow is pointing (but below the intake tube)
