Hey all

Just bought a 1991 K5 last Saturday. Gutted the interior on Sunday, and installed new carpet today. Should have the new re-upholstered interior in about a week.

JST4SHO............

Thanks,
This baby is all original with 111,400 miles on it. The 350 motor runs flawlessly. When I ripped all the carpet out, the floor was like new. No rust anywhere inside or out. The under carriage looks very clean with no issues at all. Once the new interior goes in I will have the exhaust & shocks replaced.
This K5 has new paint (original color) in September 2008, also new tires, new A/C (complete) system, new 3yr/100,000 mile tranny, new water pump, and starter. The guy who had it painted removed all the trim, bumpers and replaced afterwards. He also put all new gaskets under the mirrors, door locks, and handles. He replaced all the door, window, & tailgate rubber seals.

Wow.. what a nice guy. Most guys don't do **** but rag them out. Good find.

A friend in high school had an 87 K5 and I was pretty jealous. It had about 200k and ate gas like crazy, but it was great fun.

Welcome. Nice truck!

But you're missing out on all the fun of rust. LOL.
