Hi, I am a new member from Houston, now living in Afghanistan. In Texas I have 2001 S10 and here is Afghanistan I have a 2006 F350 4 door 4x4 that is armored with 3" glass and reinforced door panels, floor etc. and a 1996 Toyota 4 Runner, called a SURF here, 4x4 and 4 cylinder diesel engine. I also have a 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser that is a real mud dog with rear locker differential. It is an ugly old SUV but really is good off road. It has a 6 cylinder diesel engine. Welcome from VA!! I have to ask what is it that you do that allows you to travel so much?
Oh and post up some pics of your armored truck pretty please. I see them all the time cause a company right by me build them but I wanna see one thats in use!

I will get some pics of the armored F350. I am in Kandahar and it is in Helmand Province at another job site right now. It is pretty beat up but gets you there semi safely. The armor will only stop small arms fire and not bombs or RPGs.

Oh WOW, you're from Edmonton! I am going there in about 3 months. Going to be looking at working in the oil projects. Contracts are winding down here.

Nice Older Rides!
I am not sure where to post this but wanted to say how happy I am to see the members on this forum take such loving care of vehicles that have a few years on them. That is becoming increasingly rare in today's throw away society. I spent about 3 hours on here and really liked what I read.
