Hello, all!

I've had this 1998 Blazer 4x4 2dr for a couple of years now. Unfortunately, after having it for 4 months, the darn thing blew both head gaskets. Apparently, the previous owner drove the poor thing into the ground. Well, after letting it sit up for 2 years, I just started overhauling the engine. Should be done with it next weekend.

A few of the things I plan on doing:
  1. finding some better wheels than these stock wheels that have very little ventilation
  2. Finding the largest tire it'll accommodate without lifting anything
  3. Mounting a roof utility rack with 360° of lighting
  4. Relocating the spare tire to the roof rack
  5. Fabricating antenna mounts (amateur radio) and Fuel/Water can mounts onto the spare tire swing gate
  6. Front Brush Guard w/ winch
  7. Trailer hitch mount
While it is a relatively minor list, that will get the truck close to what I need it to be. I'll be using this truck as a daily driver as well as to respond to emergencies and natural disasters as part of ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service). A little recreational off-roading from time to time wouldn't be all that bad either.

You guys seem to be a good group to be a part of and I am happy to be here.

Respectfully,

Patrick Scott

Nope. It's a bone-stock Blazer for the moment.
