Hello I live in Troy Alabama. I am 59 years old and have been riding Chevys since 1971. Bought my first Blazer in 75 and have several since then. My wife and I currently have two Z71 Tahoes, 1 Vette, and one 3/4 ton Pickup. We use 4x4s everyday and really don't ride down low (car) that much. Together we have had 11 Chevy 4x4s and really only had trouble out of one. That was an S-10 Blazer and it just swallowed all of it's water one day. Replaced the manifold gasket, changed oil and filter and was back on the road with no problems. Any other problems were self-inflicted, like putting the wrong oil in a transfer case. I joined this forum to talk and find/sell chevy 4x4 stuff. I have raced one 75 GMC short bed pickup. That experience was fun but too expensive. But when you are young you want to do it all. I did. Looking forward to talking a reading.
