Hi Guys,

New to the site, and I just picked up a white 1985 Blazer in Southern California. Needs a little tlc, but everything is there. So far I've found out that it has minor leaks from everywhere, good oil pressure at 30 idle, around 60 @ 50mph or so. 4" lift with 31" tires. Rear window was stuck halfway (mechanical crank), ordered a new actuator from LMC truck. Replaced both top side windows (one was cracked). Next will be to chase all the leaks and repair them. Overall condition is good for it's age.

I look forward to searching all the boards and learning as much as I can. I did need some help with a few items. I noticed that the lines from the pass side of the air cleaner box are missing, there are open holes. The owner said that the EGR valve is leaking (on order), and I'm wondering if anyone had a pic of the lines for the box, or could guide me in the right direction as to how it's supposed to look? I have a Haynes Service Manual, but can't find anything in there about it. Also, I'm missing the Air Intake hose (4" diameter at grill, going to airbox). Anybody have an extra? Thx!!!

Hey from Marina Del Rey. I just bought an 85 K5 from a buddy last week and I am in the same mode. I got an intake hose from LMC. Cheap. Get the catalog. It's fun to look through. You will want to buy at least one item from each page.

I'm just starting to sort things out. Where in So Cal are you?
