Hi, everyone
My name is Curt and I live up in NY States Adirondack Mts.
It was minus 36 here last week.
I have always been into wheelin. Right now I have a Toyota Tacoma but thats just for the highway for now. I have built Bronco's and Jeeps but never a K-5 so I'm going to be interested in everything on this site. I restore vintage snowmobiles mostly factory race sleds and British bikes in my spare time but need some 4 wheel peel in my life and have decided to do a Blazer. Hope I can come up with the required 10 posts in 10 days but I'll try. Hope to talk to some of you soon.

I made a mistake!
I did not realize you could not ask any questions while your on probation. I think Saturday or Sunday I will be able to ask my first question about restoring a K-5 to stock. I said in my introduction that I restore old factory race or muscle snowmobiles. I have moved most of them on and haven't done one in a couple years but have kept 2. One is a 1971 Arctic Cat EXT Special 440 and the other is a 1970 "Big Mouth" Panther with Montana Pipes 634 CC. I have also built a 73 Bronco and a 76 Bronco both for hard wheelin. A 71 CJ-5 to stock. My last one was my best, a 98 Jeep TJ I can't even begin to guess how many thousand dollars I put in it but you never get it back when you sell them. I know this is a Blazer site and that is going to be my next project. I plan on doing it completely stock except for maybe 2" of lift. I've owned one before, I think it was a 77 and it was from Texas so the body was rock solid but that was many moons ago but I wish I had kept it like all the other toys that have come and gone. I think I got $ 900.00 for it which was real good money for it back then. Well theres a little more of my profile and some general ramblin to meet quota. Got a few questions next!
