While I have reviewed posts from here before while researching various things, I have joined as I just bought a 1982 K5 in Silverado trim with the 6.2 diesel engine. It's got 120K on in, but the seller has done a lot of work to it recently (has to sell due to medical issues in family), including the Banks sidewinder turbo system and a rear disk brake upgrade. I'm buying it from a consignment dealer in Nebraska and having it shipped to me here in FL, lots of plans for it and will detail here as I go.
