New member from Philly PA area
Hello everyone,
I'm registering to hopefully learn as much on this forum as I can about working on my wifes 1999 Chevy Blazer LS. I've had this car for about 5 years now and it has been pretty good with a few exceptions. It now has 165,000 miles and it is her daily driver. A list of parts that have broke and been fixed:
Lower Ball Joints, MAF, Front Motor Mount - which led to needing a new radiator fan - (motor rocked on acceleration and rammed the fan into the shroud), Fuel Pump, spark plugs (which were in so long one stripped out the hole on the way out - had to helicoil the hole) new wires, new airbox - the corners cracked off on the old one, and finally a new radiator.
I have yet to repair the non working 4wd, it's going to need new front brakes, and the seat recliner handles are broken off. I've fixed about everything on it myself - and what I don't have time for the blazer goes to the shop. My 1994 Ford Taurus SHO eats up the rest of my time working on that.
I'm here to learn what I can from the community and appreciate any input you can give me. Thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting you all!
