Hello, also new to the forum from the Phoenix area. I recently acquired a 2000 2 door with a bad engine. I looked around CL and found a rolled 2000 4 door so I bought that for the engine. I want to tow the Blazer behind an RV. From reading in the forum I have found out that my 3 button 233 transfer case will not let that happen. So I went back to my rolled parts blazer and there is the 4 button 236. I've read high and low and can not see that anyone on here has wanted to do it. I want the truck to be able to towed on its own tires, I want the truck to be able to be driven on and off road, I would like to do a little wheeling but nothing to extreme.

The last part and the hardest is I'm cheap. Is the wire harness the same or Must they be swapped, I know the TCCM is different. I have the 4 button from the dash of the parts truck. I read drive shafts are different but I have the parts truck. For the rear I can cut it down on the lathe and weld it back. Are there other nightmares that anybody would recommend I go a different direction?

I would like to thank anybody for their honest opinion. I do not need to hear from that guy that thinks his way is the only way and all others are just stupid. Again thanks for the opinion.
