New Member with a Problem
Hello to everyone. I noiticed this forum when I was seatching for some info about my 94 Blazer. I bought it a little over a year ago and it only had 66,000 original miles. About a week after I got it home I started seeing black smoke coming from the exhaust. I was told it was probably the fuel sensor regulator but to date haven't got it fixed. I'm out of work at present and am going in the hospital for surgery in the near future so can't afford auto repairs. Can anybody give me a close figure as to how much it should cost to have the regulator replaced and throw a new set of plugs in at the same time. I read somewhere it would run about $500.00 but I saw a regulator for just over $100.00. Any help would be really appreciated since I can't afford too much and don't want to be taken advantage of.
Thanks
