Hello all
I signed up here today because I'm wanting to restore my 1997 Blazer LT. Overall it's in pretty good condition but I'd like to eventually make it look new*again.
Both outside mirrors have fallen off. The dash is brittle with hairline cracks from the sun. Leather driver's seat is torn and worn. Somebody broke into it and burned their initials into the ceiling with a cigarette lighter. The back bumper is dented from backing up into a pole. The car seems to be stuck in 2 wheel drive as clicking the button for 4 wheel drive does nothing.
The original owner, my uncle, kept this car in a garage until selling it to me in 2005. it has less than 60k miles on it and the maroon paint job is in excellent condition with the exception of the back bumper. Wish I had had the sense to protect the dash from the Texas sun with a sun shade.
Aside from the stereo, I want to keep this vehicle with only stock Chevy parts if possible.
