Talking New from New york

hello i recently picked up a 1997 Chevy blazer 2dr 4x4 ls. i absolutely love driving it. but the head lights are wimpy. i bought a set of baja off road lights and i need some suggestions on how to go about installing them. i am thinking about mounting them above the license plate in the middle of the grille. ohhhh yeah i forgot to say my truck has a 190,000km on it what can i do to it to insure i make it to 250,000 or more. i had my mechanic look it over and he said it was spotless other than the transfer case and tranny were rebuilt.

Welcome to the forum! I agree about the 95-97 headlights looks whimpy...but there are kits that allow you to swap it out for a 98 or later front end, when they switched to the split headlights.
I'd mount your baja lights on the roof. If you have a roof rack put it on the from cross bar. BTW..got any pics of your ride?

here are some pics. they are not very good. it had large rust holes in the typical Chevy quarter panel but that was fixed with magic tiger hair.
