I just bought a 94 Blazer 4x4 2dr. Everything works on it and the Vortec 4.3 V6 only has 75 rounds on it. It runs like a top. I was wondering how the do on the trails? I hit a little mud and it done great. Any cheap tricks to make it do even better? Anyone from southern Ohio that would like to go wheelin?

welcome to the show, from Canada.
75 rounds? are you talkin' mileage there? if so, that's pretty low for a 17 year old vehicle.
trail tackling? hell, it's a Blazer she'll do great!
as for improvements & upgrades.......take a look around the Modifications section. there's a wealth of info in there.
for other member's in your area, have a look though the Shows & Clubs section.

I have a 94 4 door 4x4 and it is a tank it goes about anywhere as long as its not hung up . I also had a 89 2 door , it had a five speed that was the best 4x4 ever I've had it in mud over the head lights and it took some time but I made it out . Definatly fun vehicles , although I do not like the automatic 4l60e transmissions . They are probably all right for road use but 4 wheeling they just don't fair well , thats my personal opinion . Also I like the way they look with camaro wheels on them , it makes the wheels stick out a bit . Heres a pic of mine with camaro wheels and 2 1/2 inch wheel spacers .

I entered this blazer in the mud races here at broome tioga , my race number was 420 , I was the smallest vehicle there .

Kinda embarrising but it was fun . Good luck with your 4 wheeling adventures .

Thanks guys...Yeah it has around 75k miles on it but the body has 204K. The engine was replaced last year and they had gotten the engine out of a wrecked vehicle. The engine sounds GREAT and the body is in fair condition. I does ride very well as if it didn't have all the miles, no "squeeks" or "pops". I picked it up for $1,200 and I had to change the EGR valve on it, but I knew it was bad when I purchased it last week. Thank's for all the info and I'll definately check out those sections.

welcoem to the forum. as stated, it's a blazer, she'll do fine. do not expect to plow through or climb anything extreme until you mod her out a bit, but trail ready? hell yes.

What would be my best first mods? Like I said mostly trails and mud, no rocks really around here, but ALOT of hills.

while it's been almost a full day since you posted this, i'm sure by now you've figured out that this section is for introductions only.
take a poke around the Suspension section. do a quick search on "t-bar crank", it'll get you goin' in the right direction.
