Hi Guys,

I just picked up a 2000 4dr 4x4 Blazer LT as a "toy" will be using it as a fun vehicle for launching the boat and getting dirty on the weekends. This forum has been super useful already so far in helping me diagnose and replace the thermostat successfully and for learning more about my new toy (rpo codes for the win) I've got a temp plate on for now until Sunday. I have until then to get my safety and e-test on it. I have a scan tool that shows readiness for the e-test, and everything is currently READY other than the catalyst which shows incomplete. I was hoping this would fix itself after replacing the thermostat and running it around for a bit, but after 80km or so at operating temp it still shows incomplete. I'm waiting for it to cool down now so I can try the GM specific OBDII drive cycle, to see if that will get me in shape for the e-test. I figured while i'm waiting I'd say hello and also pick your brain for anything else i can check or do to get this beast ready for the e-test.

latch on the oil filter access door is busted, hoping to find a better skidplate/bumper soon though. have some rust removal and rocker liner work to do as well
